The AWS Cloud Journey Oman event is designed to empower organizations and startups with hands-on experiences, business insights, and networking opportunities. The program is structured over 3 days, with Day 1, is half day focusing on Hackathon activities for registered technical attendees, Day 2 dedicated to deep-dive technology innovation about Cloud, Data, and AI, and Day 3 open to the public for high-level business engagement and partnership building.

Dr Mahdi Aiash is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Cybersecurity at Middlesex University London, where he leads the Cybersecurity Research Group. He also serves as Director of the Centre for Abuse, Trauma and Suicide Studies (CATS), contributing to its work on technology-facilitated harms and digital safety. His expertise spans AI-driven cybersecurity, exploitation research, and emerging threat landscapes. He has secured multiple funded projects in cybersecurity and AI, and his publications in leading venues place him among the top cybersecurity researchers globally. With over a decade of industry experience across offensive and defensive security, Dr Aiash works closely with businesses to translate research into practical capabilities that address real-world cyber challenges.
